a packrat's fridge

I had just scooped out a bowlful of Tin Roof Sundae when I made a startling discovery - stuck to the face of the freezer.

Under a faded realtor's magnet were several coupons good for a free pizza at the Parkside Diner downtown. It's a great idea, buying 10 pizzas and getting one free. Then I noticed this important message, "Expires one year from date of purchase."

'Hmmm, wonder if these are still good?' I thought. Peering closer, I read these words:
Purchase date: 11-10-01.

2001?! Guess not.
